At the origin of Lima, over 65 years ago, there were two men who met and inspired each other: Pierre Gevaert, Lima's Belgian founder, and George Ohsawa, the Japanese founder of Macrobiotics. George believed in the philosophy of Yin and Yang, which is based on one main principle: the harmony between opposing yet complementary elements.
Lima has become the story of their shared dream: the dream of a land where all forms of life live in harmony. A land where people are in harmony with themselves, with others, and with the environment.
